Superadmission is hiring for a small number of roles as the team prepares for its first live pilot. Every role listed here is genuinely open. Every person hired will work directly with the founders on work that directly affects the product.

Engineering

Full-Stack Engineer

The platform is built on a modern web stack with deep India Stack integrations — Aadhaar eKYC, DigiLocker Requester API, UPI/NPCI, APAAR federation. The work at this stage involves integration hardening, pilot infrastructure, and the remaining ~15% of the prototype: reserved seat reallocation automation, regional language support, and production UPI merchant setup. What we are looking for:
  • Strong full-stack fundamentals - the stack is React/Next.js on the frontend
  • Comfort with API integrations and asynchronous systems
  • Ability to work on systems where correctness matters - allocation and payment flows are not forgiving of bugs
  • Self-directed: you will identify what needs to be done as much as you will be told

AI/ML Engineer

Pravesh AI is the guidance layer embedded throughout the platform. It currently produces probability estimates, plain-language seat offer explanations, and round-specific insights. The work here involves improving model accuracy as real allocation data becomes available, expanding the guidance layer’s contextual range, and building the confidence scoring system for manual document review on the admin side. What we are looking for:
  • Experience with LLM fine-tuning or RAG architectures
  • Comfort with probabilistic outputs and calibration
  • Interest in the domain — AI that guides high-stakes student decisions requires careful thinking about what the model says and how it says it

Operations and Policy

Pilot Operations Associate

The first live pilot requires coordinating with the counselling authority’s team, managing the integration timeline, tracking student-facing issues during the live round, and documenting outcomes against agreed metrics. This role is the connective tissue between the product and the first real deployment. What we are looking for:
  • Strong project management instincts — ability to track many moving parts simultaneously
  • Clear written and verbal communication — you will be interfacing with government institution staff
  • Comfort with ambiguity: a first pilot will produce surprises; the job is to handle them without escalating everything

Policy and Government Relations

Superadmission’s path to scale runs through counselling authorities — state and central. This role involves mapping the institutional landscape, supporting pilot conversations, and developing the relationship between Superadmission’s design and India’s education policy environment (NEP 2020, NDEAR, APAAR, IndiaAI Mission). What we are looking for:
  • Understanding of India’s education policy landscape
  • Experience working with or within government institutions is a plus
  • Ability to translate technical product decisions into policy-relevant language

Design

Product Designer

The student-facing experience is Superadmission’s most important surface. The platform serves students who are navigating a high-stakes process for the first time, often alone, often in circumstances that are not ideal. The design has to work for them. This role involves ongoing iteration on the student flow, the guidance layer’s visual communication, and the accessibility of the platform across devices and literacy levels. What we are looking for:
  • Strong fundamentals in information architecture and interaction design
  • Experience designing for users with varied digital literacy
  • Interest in the problem — design decisions here have real consequences for real students

Note on compensation

Superadmission is pre-revenue. Compensation at this stage reflects that - it will not match a large company offer. What it offers instead is equity, ownership of real work, and proximity to a problem that matters. If compensation is the primary consideration, this is probably not the right fit right now. If the work is the primary consideration, reach out.
